Laser Treatment Aftercare Instructions

Anti-Aging & Hair Removal Treatments - Please follow the guidelines below carefully to support healing and achieve the best results.

Aftercare Instructions: Laser Anti-Aging Treatments

(Includes treatments for skin tightening, collagen stimulation, wrinkle reduction, and facial rejuvenation)

🔄 What to Expect:

  • Mild redness, warmth, or tightness for a few hours to a few days post-treatment.
  • Slight dryness or a "sandpaper" texture may occur as the skin begins to renew.
  • Skin tone and texture will gradually improve as collagen production increases over the following weeks.

Do:

  • Cleanse your skin with a gentle, non-irritating cleanser and lukewarm water.
  • Apply a hydrating, fragrance-free moisturizer at least twice daily.
  • Use broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen daily to protect healing skin.
  • Keep the skin hydrated and avoid letting it dry out during the healing process.
  • Light makeup can be worn after 24 hours if the skin feels comfortable.

Avoid:

  • Direct sun exposure for at least 1 week or until your skin is fully healed.
  • Harsh skincare products such as retinols, acids, or exfoliants for 5–7 days.
  • Hot showers, saunas, or any intense heat for 48 hours.
  • Picking, rubbing, or exfoliating treated areas manually.
  • Vigorous exercise or sweating for 24–48 hours.

Aftercare Instructions: Laser Hair Removal Treatments

(For face or body hair removal – targets unwanted hair gently and precisely)

🔄 What to Expect:

  • Mild redness, warmth, or tenderness similar to a mild sunburn.
  • Treated hairs may begin to shed within 7–14 days — this is normal.
  • Some mild swelling or temporary sensitivity may occur in the treated areas.

Do:

  • Apply cool compresses if needed to soothe the area.
  • Moisturize with a gentle, fragrance-free lotion or aloe vera.
  • Use SPF 30+ sunscreen on any exposed treated areas to prevent pigmentation.
  • Gently exfoliate the area after 3–5 days to help with hair shedding (if your provider advises).
  • Shaving is allowed between treatments — avoid other hair removal methods.

Avoid:

  • Sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 2 weeks.
  • Hot baths, swimming pools, steam rooms, and saunas for 48 hours.
  • Applying deodorant (if underarms were treated) for 24 hours.
  • Waxing, tweezing, or threading between sessions.
